Our auditious journey through the design that better describes New York found a fantastic stop on Boca do Lobo’s website.
Looking for design pieces that could fit the Big City we become stucked on Soho Collection from the Portuguese company.

Inspired by the cosmopolitan edge of the neighborhood with a reinterpretation of forms and materials, Boca do Lobo’s SOHO collection boosts a balance of architectural design and classic appeal.
Exquisite woods, traditional techniques, and timeless motifs are applied to their designs creating charismatic pieces that seduce and tempt.

Soho Coffee table – It’s all about offering you a variety of choices for your home decor! After the huge success with Soho sideboard, Boca do Lobo has launched in two new versions a bed side table and a console.
Soho Sideboard – A collection of wood drawers finished in mirror and black glass with etched detailing, gold leaf, diamond mateched rosewood veneer, high gloss blue lacquer and white lacquer with hand carved relief patterning.
Tiffany Stools – Handcrafted solid wood that could work as a coffee table or a side table.
Apollo Mirror – Thirteen mirrors framed in wood and supported by twenty-one turned wood spindles.
Alley table lamp – Finely carved wood base with a stainless steel plate on the top and bottom and a round silk shade.
Guggenheim Cabinet – Handcrafted wood with a high gloss varnish finish. Interior features two glass shelves, four drawers with handmade brass pulls, and a mirror back with etched pattern accents.
Manhattan side tables – Handcrafted solid wood finished in white. Other colors are also available.
Liberty wall mirror – Handcrafted wood frame supports a round convex mirror.
Franklin display stand – Wood veneer in rosewood or palisander finished with a high gloss varnish. High gloss colored lacquer in black or white, custom colors available for an upcharge.
Union table lamp – A turned solid wood base with a round silk shade. Customizable shade and body.
Brooklyn Minibar – Inspired from the composition and typology of our famous Mondrian, Brooklyn was designed to be a mini bar.
Trinity console table – A black glass box with floral etched accents encases three wood drawers with brass hardware, and is supported by handcrafted wood legs.
Jay room divider – Four handcrafted wood panels create a folding screen.
Times side table – A square table with a handcrafted wood top and lower shelf; A supported by a polished stainleddd steel frame.
Undoubtdely Soho Sideboard is the piece which most characterize the cosmopolitan side of this Boca do Lobo collection inspired on the city that doesn’t sleep.
P.S. At the time I am writing this article, New York is suffering one of the most violent storms of its history. Sandy is violent natural disaster that will make all new yorkers stronger and even more shining.
